Preview: Atlanta @ Carolina

On Saturday afternoon, the Atlanta Falcons faces the Carolina Panthers. The game will be on FOX at 1 pm EST.

The Falcons are 9-5 this season, while the Panthers are 6-8. Atlanta is 5-2 on the road, while Carolina is 4-3 at Bank of America Stadium.

Atlanta has won the past two games with the Panthers. Carolina won the previous two games before that.

In the past 10 games in the series between these two teams, each team has won five times. Besides the past two by the Falcons, they also won Nov. 16, 2014 when they won 19-17. They also won 30-28 on Sept. 30, 2012 and 31-23 on Dec. 11, 2011.

The Panthers won 38-0 on Dec. 13, 2015. They also won Dec. 28, 2014 when they won 34-3. On Dec. 29, 2013, they won 21-20. They also won 34-10 on Nov. 3, 2013 and 30-20 on Dec. 9, 2012.

Atlanta has won their past two games. They haven’t lost since being defeated 29-28 on Dec. 4 to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Carolina is also on a two-game win streak. They haven’t lost since being defeated 40-7 by the Seattle Seahawks on Dec. 4.

Matt Ryan leads the Falcons attack with 4,336 passing yards. He also has 32 touchdown passes and seven interceptions.

Devonta Freeman has 930 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns. Julio Jones has 1,253 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

Cam Newton leads the Panthers attack with 3,074 passing yards. He has 17 touchdown passes and nine interceptions.

Jonathan Stewart has 709 rushing yards and eight touchdowns. Greg Olsen has 992 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
