On Sunday afternoon, the Baltimore Ravens faces the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field. The game will be on The NFL Network at 4:30 pm EST.

The Ravens are 8-6, while the Steelers are 9-5. Baltimore is 2-4 on the road this season and Pittsburgh is 4-2 at home.

“We are excited about this opportunity,” Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said. “When you really think about it, it’s going to be an exciting game for us, an exciting game for them. It’s going to be an exciting game for the fans.

“You could say that both teams have been fighting and clawing for some period of time to get to this point, to this game, in this stadium, with this amount of significance or what is at stake. From a competitor’s standpoint, it’s an awesome thing. It is a snapshot of December football.”

Baltimore has won the past four games against Pittsburgh. The Steelers haven’t defeated its rival since Nov. 2, 2014 when they won 43-23.

In the past 10 games in this series, the Ravens have won seven times. Besides the 2014 win, Pittsburgh also won Oct. 20, 2013 (19-16) and Dec. 2, 2012 (23-20).

The winner of this game will likely be the third seed in the AFC playoffs. That would mean a first-round playoff game — and the Ravens only opportunity to get into the playoffs is to win this game.

“We understand the challenge that’s presented,” Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said. “Pittsburgh is playing great football. (It’s a) great team — all phases — a very well-coached, obviously, excellent playmakers, tough, hard-nosed team, and we’re looking forward to the challenge. But we feel like we’re up for it.”

Baltimore comes into the game with a one-game win streak, as they defeated the Philadelphia Eagles last week. They haven’t lost since being defeated by the New England Patriots 30-23 on Nov. 12.

Pittsburgh has won five straight games. They haven’t lost since Nov. 13 when they lost 35-30 to the Dallas Cowboys.

Joe Flacco leads the Ravens attack with 3,788 passing yards. He has 19 touchdown passes and 13 interceptions.

Terrance West has 729 rushing yards and five touchdowns. Mike Wallace has 963 receiving yards and four touchdowns.

Ben Roethlisberger leads the Steelers attack with 3,540 passing yards. He has 26 touchdown passes and 11 interception.

Le’Veon Bell has 1,146 rushing yards and five touchdowns. Antonio Brown has 1,188 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns.
