Boise State Broncos junior running back Jeremy McNichols has decided to forgo his senior year. He will enter the 2017 NFL Draft.
McNichols is expected to go within the top two rounds in April’s 2017 NFL Draft.
McNichols has been the workhorse for the Broncos this season, as he has rushed for 1,663 yards. It is the third-highest in a single-season in school history.
With a 174 yards in the team’s bowl game, he will break Jay Ajayi’s 2014 record with 2,359 yards. McNichols has 27 total touchdowns and will likely add to that total on Tuesday night in the Cactus Bowl against the Baylor Bears.
With two touchdowns, he would tie Western Kentucky’s Anthony Wales, who leads the nation with 29 touchdowns.
McNichols has had nine 100-yard games this season. He also had three 200-yard games.
He has 32 receptions and 450 receiving yards, which leads all Mountain West running backs.
