On Wednesday night, William Paterson University Pioneers faces The College of New Jersey’s women’s basketball team at Packer Hall. The game will start at 6 pm EST.

The Pioneers are 7-5, while the Lions are 5-6. William Paterson is 2-2 on the road and TCNJ is 1-4 at home.

Their lone home win came on Dec. 17 when they defeated the Delaware Valley Aggies 61-41.

Both teams are 2-3 within the New Jersey Athletic Conference play.

The Lions have lost their last two meetings with the Pioneers. They are playing their first game since Feb. 13, 2016 at William Paterson in Wayne, N.J. when they lost 61-57.

TCNJ has not defeated William Paterson since Feb. 21, 2015 when the Lions won 63-61 in the NJAC Tournament.

In the past 10 meetings between these two teams, William Paterson has won six of those games. Besides the Feb. 21, 2015 win, they also won 78-68 on Feb. 14, 2015; 78-67 on Jan. 17, 2015 and 79-78 on Nov. 23, 2013.

William Paterson is averaging 69.2 points per game. TCNJ is scoring 65 points per contest.

William Paterson is on a three-game win streak. They have not lost a contest since Dec. 10 when they lost 86-71 to the Richard Stockton University Ospreys.

TCNJ won thelr last game, as they defeated the Arcadia University Knights 72-60 in the Juniata Tournament. They have not lost since Dec. 29 when they were defeated 75-58 by the DeSales University Bulldogs.

Garry Harris leads the Pioneers with 12.8 points per game. Tori Woetzel and Janea Clark are grabbing 6.9 rebounds and Julie Rovito is averaging 2.7 assists per game.

Jen Byrne leads the Lions with 12.7 points per contest. Charlotte Schum is grabbing 8.5 rebounds and averaging 3.2 assists per game.
