Preview: Ole Miss @ No. 24 Florida

On Tuesday night, the Ole Miss Rebels faces No. 24 Florida Gators at the Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center in Gainesville, Fla. The game will be on ESPNU at 7 pm EST.

The Rebels are 9-4, while the Gators are 10-3. Ole Miss is 0-1 on the road and Florida is 1-0 at home.

The Rebels are 0-6 all-time at a ranked Florida team, according to ESPN’s Stats & Info.

These two teams have not faced each other since Feb. 9, 2016 when Florida won 77-72. The Gators have won the past two games in the series.

Ole Miss has not won in this series since Feb. 12, 2015 when they won 62-61.

In the past 10 meetings between these two teams, Florida has won seven times. Besides the Feb. 12, 2015 win, they also won 72-71 on Jan. 24, 2015 and 66-63 on March 17, 2013.

Ole Miss lost their last game, as they were defeated 99-76 to the No. 6 Kentucky Wildcats. They have not won a game since Dec. 22 when they won 92-58 over the South Alabama Jaguars.

Florida has won their last three games. The Gators have not lost a game since Dec. 11 when they lost 83-78 to the No. 12 Florida State Seminoles.

The Rebels are averaging 80.7 points per game, while the Gators are averaging 79.2 points. 

DeAndré Burnett leads the Rebels with 19.2 points per game. Sebastian Saiz is averaging 12.2 rebounds and Cullen Neal has 3.5 assists per game. 

KeVaughn Allen leads the Gators with 14.2 points per game. John Egbunu is averaging 8.0 rebounds and Kasey Hill has 4.8 assists per game.
