Preview: Georgia Tech @ No. 8 Duke

On Wednesday night, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets faces No. 8 Duke Blue Devils at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The game will be on ESPN2 at 7 pm EST.

The Yellow Jackets are 9-4 and the Blue Devils are 12-2. Georgia Tech is 1-2 on the road and Duke is 7-0 at home.

This will be the Blue Devils head coach Mike Krzyzewski’s final; game with the team for at least a month. He’s going to have back surgery and replaced on an interim basis by assistant coach Jeff Capel.

This is their first meeting since Feb. 2, 2016 when Duke won 80-71.

In the past 10 meetings, Duke won nine of the games. Georgia Tech won 71-67 for their lone win during this stretch on Jan. 9, 2010.

Georgia Tech has won their past three games, including a 75-63 upset win over No. 4 North Carolina Tar Heels on Dec. 31. They have not lost a game since Dec. 20, 2016 when they lost 60-43 to the Georgia Bulldogs.

Duke lost their last game, as they lost 89-75 to the Virginia Tech Hokies. They have not won a game since Dec. 21, 2016 when they defeated the Elon Phoenix 72-61.

The Yellow Jackets are scoring 68.6 points per game. The Blue Devils are scoring 82.9 points.

Ben Lammers leads the Georgia Tech attack with 14.6 points and 10.1 rebounds per game. Justin Moore is averaging 3.9 assists.

Luke Kennard leads the Duke attack with 21.4 points per game. Amalie Jefferson is averaging 10.9 rebounds and Grayson Allen is averaging 3.5 assists.

Allen will miss his second straight game in his indefinite suspension for an incident that happened in the Elon game.
