NFL playoff preview: New York @ Green Bay

On Sunday afternoon, the New York Giants faces the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The game will start at 4:40 pm EST.

The Giants are 11-5 and the Packers are 10-6. New York is 4-4 on the road and Green Bay is 6-2 at home.

The Packers lost 30-16 to the Dallas Cowboys at Lambeau Field on Oct. 16, 2016. Then, on Nov. 6, 2016, they lost 31-26 to the Indianapolis Colts.

According to Covers.com Consensus Analysis, the Giants have a 53% chance to win the game.

These two teams last played each other on Oct. 9, 2016 on Sunday Night Football when the Packers won 23-16.

Prior to that win by Green Bay, the Giants had won three straight games against the Packers. They last won on Nov. 17, 2013 when New York won 27-13.

In the past 10 meetings between these two teams, each team has won five times. Besides the Oct. 9, 2016 win, the Packers also won 38-35 on Dec. 4, 2011; 45-17 on Dec. 26, 2010; 35-13 on Sept. 16, 2007 and 34-25 on Jan. 6, 2002.

New York had won the three straight from Jan. 15, 2012 (37-20) through a 27-13 win on Nov. 17, 2013. They also won 23-20 on Jan. 20, 2008 and 14-7 on Oct. 3, 2004.

The Giants are 24-24 in the playoffs. They are 6-4 in their previous 10 Wild Card Round games.

They have not lost a playoff game since Jan. 11, 2009 when they lost 23-11 to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Divisional Round.

Their last playoff win came on Feb. 5, 2012 when they defeated the New England Patriots 21-17 in the Super Bowl.

On Jan. 7, 2007, the Giants last lost a Wild Card Round game. They were defeated 23-17 to the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Packers are 32-21 in the playoffs. They are 9-5 in their previous 14 Wild Card Round games.

They have not won a playoff game since Jan. 10, 2016 when they defeated the Washington Redskins 35-18 in the 2016 Wild Card Round.

They have not lost a playoff game since losing in the Divisional Round. They lost 26-20 in overtime to the Arizona Cardinals.

New York won their last game, as they defeated the Washington Redskins 19-10 on Jan. 1. They have not lost a game since Dec. 22, 2016 when they lost 24-19 to the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday Night Football.

Green Bay has won six straight games. They have not lost a game since Nov. 20, 2016 when they lost 42-24 on Sunday Night Football.

Eli Manning leads the Giants attack with 4,027 passing yards. He has 26 touchdown passes and 16 interceptions.

Rashad Jennings has 593 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Odell Beckham Jr. has 1,367 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.

Aaron Rodgers leads the Packers attack with 4,428 passing yards. He has 40 touchdown passes and seven interceptions.

Ty Montgomery has 457 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Jordy Nelson has 1,257 receiving yards.
