On Wednesday night, The College of New Jersey’s men’s basketball team faces the Rutgers-Newark Scarlet Raiders at The Golden Dome Arena in Newark, N.J. The game is slated to start at 8 pm EST.
The Lions are 9-5 and the Scarlet Raiders are 4-10. TCNJ is 1-5 on the road and Rutgers-Newark is 1-5 at home.

Rutgers-Newark is 3-4 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. TCNJ is 5-2 in conference play.
The Scarlet Raiders won the last meeting on Jan. 30, 2016 when they defeated the Lions 62-58 at The Golden Dome Arena. In fact, Rutgers-Newark has won the past three meetings.
TCNJ has not won in this series since Jan. 3, 2015 at Packer Hall when they won 74-62.
In the past 10 meetings between these two teams, Rutgers-Newark has won eight times dating back to Feb. 21, 2009 at Packer Hall in the NJAC Tournament. Besides the Jan. 3, 2015 win, the Lions also won Jan. 16, 2010 when they won 71-63.
TCNJ won their last game, as they defeated the Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU)-Florham Devils 87-65 on Monday night in non-conference play. They have not lost a game since Jan. 7, 2017 when they were defeated 98-90 by the Ramapo College of New Jersey Roadrunners on Sat.
Rutgers-Newark has lost their past three games. They have not won a game since Dec. 14, 2016 wen they defeated the Rutgers-Camden Scarlet Raptors 61-60.
TCNJ is averaging 79.6 points per game. They are giving up 69.6 points.
Rutgers-Newark is averaging 57 points per game. They are giving up 64.1 points.
Bobby Brackett leads the Lions attack with 16.6 points and 10.1 rebounds per game. Eric Murdoch Jr. is averaging 5.6 assists per game.
Tyler Ofray leads the Scarlet Raiders attack with 18.3 points per game. Nadir Alston is averaging 8.4 rebounds and Ofray is averaging 3 assists per game.
