On Wednesday night, the Rutgers-Camden women’s basketball team faces the Montclair State Red Hawks at Panzer Athletic Center in Montclair, N.J. The game is slated to start at approx. at 6 pm EST.

The Scarlet Raptors are 9-4 and the Red Hawks are 13-0. Rutgers-Camden is 3-3 on the road and Montclair State is 6-0 at home.

The Red Hawks are 6-0 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. Rutgers-Camden is 3-3 in conference play.

The Red Hawks have won the past 20 games between these two teams. The Scarlet Raptors has not won in this series since Dec. 14, 2002 when they won 77-61 at Rutgers-Camden.

Rutgers-Camden lost their last game as they were defeated 83-68 by the Neumann University Knights on Monday night. They have not won a game since Jan. 4, 2017 when they defeated the Ramapo College of New Jersey Roadrunners 48-35.

Montclair State has won 13 straight games. They have not lost since they were defeated 69-66 in overtime to the Albright College Lions on March 5, 2016 in the NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball Championship second round.

Rutgers-Camden is averaging 72 points per game. They are giving up 64 points.

Montclair State is scoring 67.2 points per game. They are giving up 46.6 points.

Jovan Childers leads the Scarlet Raptors attack with 15.7 points per game. Michelle Obasi is averaging 8.2 rebounds and Gabby Greene and Cara Racobaldo are averaging 3.8 assists per game.

Katie Sire leads the Red Hawks attack with 15.2 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. Kate Tobie is averaging 4.2 assists.
