The Los Angeles Clippers will be without their starting point guard Chris Paul for an extended period of time. He will undergo surgery and miss six-to-eight weeks.

Paul is dealing with a torn ligament in his left thumb. The team is already without Blake Griffin, who is expected to return soon.

He will have surgery on Wednesday.
