Kings get Schilling in exchange for Latta

The Los Angeles Kings have acquired defenseman Cam Schilling from the Chicago Blackhawks. In exchange for Schilling, the Blackhawks get forward Michael Latta.

The 28-year-old Schilling will be looking to play for his second National Hockey League team. While he was signed with the Blackhawks, he did not play for them.

This season, he played in 40 games with the Rockford IceHogs in the American Hockey League. He had seven goals and 10 assists for 17 points.

He last played in the NHL in the 2014-15 season with the Washington Capitals. He played in four games with the team and did not register a point.

The 25-year-old Litta has also been stuck in the AHL. He has two goals and four assists for six points in 29 games with the Ontario Reign.

He last played in the NHL with the Washington Capitals, where he had three goals and four assists in 43 games.
