GPG TV presents Asylum 53 Philadelphia

This Saturday night, Asylum Fight League presents Asylum 53 at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pa. The show is slated to start at approx. 8 pm EST.

Tickets range from $100 ringside to $50 general admission. Tickets can be bought at, or at the door. This will be a live PPV on FITE.TV app. There is also a VIP Experience available that includes a first row seat, GPG t-shirt, dinner and beer. Asylum Fight League will partner with Global Proving Ground to put on the event. GPG is the National League and is producing the TV and branding for the event, while Asylum Fight League is the regional promotion that is putting on the event.

GPG helps local promotions with their production value. ECF Extreme Cage Fighting is the New York Regional Promotion in the GPG National League, and they partnered together for an event on Feb. 4.

This is Asylum Fight League’s first event since Asylum 52 in Berlin, N.J. on Nov. 5, 2016. In their last event, Alex Torres defeated Matthew Spellen with a TKO win in the second round.

Zachary Chase picked up a unanimous decision over Pema Sherpa. Matthew Johnson submitted Kristopher Rivera with a guillotine choke in the second round.

Nicholas Uva won a unanimous decision over Ivan Gonzalez. Quinn Weiss also won her fight via unanimous decision over Natalie Schlessinger.

Zac Krulikowski won via unanimous decision over Tarleton Capelli.

When they have their event at the 2300 Arena on Saturday, it will be the first-time they held at event at this facility since it was named Aslyum Arena. That was on Oct. 8, 2011 when it was headlined by Pat Dwyer and Brian Pohlmeyer.

Dwyer defeated Pohlmeyer, has he improved to 2-0 at the time. Pohlmeyer fell to 0-3 following the fight.

The 28-year-old Dwyer has not fought since that time, according to Pohlmeyer fought two more times, but has not fought in a fight since Oct. 5, 2012 when he lost to Evan Bates at Sherman Cage Rage 1 – Frontline Assault.

According to Tapology, Kyle Daukaus is confirmed to fight Dino Jukio. Ivan Taylor is scheduled to fight Adam Atiyeh. Severo Cardenas is scheduled to fight Steffen Yaskoweak.

Andre Petroski will fight Kevin Benedetti. Criszaida Adam will compete against Daniela Osio. Rebecca Evans competes against Christine Frazier.

Mike Serrano will compete against Magic Mears. Jay Radick fights Derrick Bradley and Hough Douse faces Nicholas Forbes.
