Plumlee leaves with calf injury

By Anthony Caruso III | Publisher

Miles Plumlee, who was recently acquired by the Charlotte Hornets in a trade with the Milwaukee Bucks for Roy Hibbert and Spencer Hawes, left Monday’s game with the Philadelphia 76ers. He departed with a strained right calf.

The game was nearly over when he left the contest. He is averaging nearly 15 minutes per game since being acquired in the aforementioned trade.

If he has to miss any time, Frank Kaminsky would see an increase in playing time for the time being.

In nine minutes, he had four points and three rebounds before the injury.

The Hornets have not released an update on his condition. We do not know if this will just be a day-to-day injury, or will last longer than that.
