Matt Elam, a former Baltimore Ravens safety and soon-to-be free agent, was arrested on Sunday morning on multiple drug charges. He was booked at 3:45 am EST on three felony charges.

The charges include marijuana possession of more than 20 grams, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of a controlled substance. He is also facing one count of reckless driving, according to the Miami-Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation Department.

His bail is $15,500 and he has remained in custody following his arrest. He has no first appearance scheduled yet.

Elam had his option declined by the Ravens after the season. He will be a free agent next month when the new league-year starts.

He was previously suspended by the National Football League in 2015 for a game for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. Now, wherever he signs when the free agent window opens, he’ll likely be facing another suspension for his actions in Miami.
