The first two Pro Stock Wally’s are in the KB Racing camp. Greg Anderson won the 33rd annual NHRA Arizona Nationals at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Chandler, Ariz. on Sunday.

Anderson defeated Drew Skillman in the final round in his Summit Racing Equipment Chevy Camaro with a 6.547 at 211.43 mph pass. Skillman went 6.565 at 210.50 in his Ray Skillman Auto Group Chevy Camaro.

“It was brutal [on Sunday], but I knew it was going to be coming in,” Anderson said. “The class is awesome right now. I think every race I had [on Sunday] was decided by less than a foot. You just don’t get better racing than that.

“It’s fantastic out there. It’s just a battle royale every time you stage the car. Anybody can win and that’s what it’s all about.”

This is Anderson’s 87th win of his career. It’s also his second win at the facility and he went to his 140th final round to end the race.

Anderson defeated Kelly Delco in the first-round. Then, he took out father-and-son Shane Gray then rookie Tanner Gray in the semi-finals.

Jason Line, Anderson’s teammate, won the season-opener two weeks ago at the 57th annual National Hot Rod Association’s Circle K Winternationals at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona, Calif.
