Marshall agrees to a Giants deal

The New York Giants have agreed to a two-year deal with free agent wide receiver Brandon Marshall. His deal will become official at 4 pm on Thursday when the new league-year starts.

Marshall will receive $12 million due in the lifetime of the deal.

He will now start opposite of Odell Beckham Jr. Marshall takes the spot of Victor Cruz, who will not return to the team.

Recently, he requested his release from the New York Jets in order to sign with a team, who has a playoff outlook. By signing with the Giants — when it become official — he would not have to move, as the Jets and the Giants share MetLife Stadium.
