Mike Glennon has not started a game since the 2014 season. But the free agent quarterback is cashing in.
He is signing a three-year deal with the Chicago Bears. He will be paid $43.5 million during that time.
He goes to the Bears, where he’ll replace Jay Cutler and Brian Hoyer. Chicago is trying to trade Cutler, but could release him if there are no takers.
Hoyer will sign with the San Francisco 49ers.
Glennon is 5-13 as a National Football League starter. He went 1-4 in five games as a starter during the 2014 season.
During the 2013 season, he started 13 games. He went 4-9 that season.
In his career, he has 4,100 passing yards. He also has 30 touchdown passes and 15 interceptions.
