Jason Line is the provisional No. 1 Pro Stock qualifier at the 48th annual Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals at Gainesville Raceway in Gainesville, Florida. He took the provisional top spot following his second qualifying session.
He went 6.476 at 213.87 mph in his Summit Racing Equipment Chevy Camaro.
“The Class as a whole as picked up a fair amount of power over the off-season,” he said. “We’re certainly much faster than we were last year at this time.
“It felt like we could go that fast, maybe a little bit faster. Nonetheless, saying it is one thing, but doing it is another, so we did it. It was a good day.”
Enders-Stevens’ teammate Jeg Coughlin Jr. qualified fourth. He went 6.491 at 214.59 in his Elite Motorsports Chevy Camaro.
Greg Anderson rounded out the Top five — and the third KB Racing car in the top five spots. Anderson went 6.491 at 214.59 in his Summit Racing Equipment Chevy Camaro.
