According to the Miami Herald, the Miami Dolphins are not interested in drafting Joe Mixon. Several teams have been working out the former Oklahoma Sooners running back.

Apparently the Dolphins do not want to deal with the public relations nightmare that could come with bringing Mixon on board. While he was in Norman, Okla. he punched a female.

Recently, the video of the incident came to light. That caused outrage — and Sooners head coach Bob Stoops elected to allow him to play in the team’s bowl game.

He was not allowed to participate in the NFL Scouting Combine because of the incident. He allegedly had an incident with a meter maid in 2016.

There are many red flags with him. However, he has the talent to perform on the field. If he didn’t have the incidents on his record, he would be a guaranteed first-round pick.

Any team that drafts him is hoping to get the same out of him as the Kansas City Chiefs got out of Tyreek Hill.

Mixon had 1,812 yards from scrimmage and 15 touchdowns last season. He averaged 6.8 yards per carry.
