Clemson gets No. 1 2018 football recruit

The Clemson University Tigers are on top of the college football universe. They won the College Football Playoff National Championship Game in January.

Now, the No. 1 recruit in the 2018 class has committed to play for the team. Xavier Thomas, a five-star recruit, picked the Tigers prior to the team’s Orange and White spring game.

Thomas, an IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) defensive end, choose the Tigers over the South Carolina Gamecocks.
