Junior Galette, a Washington Redskins linebacker, was arrested this weekend in Biloxi, Miss. He’s facing charges of disorderly conduct and failing to comply.
He allegedly got into a fight on Friday night at MGM Park. As law enforcement authorities tried to talk to Galette, he ran.
Galette, who has not played in the NFL since the 2014 season with the New Orleans Saints, has been released on bail. The Redskins re-signed Galette to a one-year deal earlier this off-season.
He’s had run-inscekfh the law in the past. And with this latest incident, it would not be surprising if Bruce Allen, Redskins president, and Jay Gruden, Redskins head coach, decide to cut ties with him, as he has never played in a game for the team.
Galette was involved in a domestic violence incident in January 2015. But those charges were later dropped.
There is an ongoing civil case from that incident.
Later in 2015, a video surfaced that showed Galette swinging a belt at an individual on a beach in a separate incident.
He has torn his Achilles the past two seasons, both with the Redskins.
