The accident happened at 5 am PDT. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The law enforcement authorities believe she drifted left before hitting the barrier. The car stopped after hitting a sign post.

She was not wearing a seatbelt when she was behind the wheel of her 1998 Toyota Camry.

According to KIRO 7 in Washington, she was a package handler for FedEx.

At this time, it is not clear if Thomas plays in the Celtics game against the Chicago Bulls on Sunday. The game is slated to tip at TD Garden at 6:30 pm EST.
