Bob Rahaim had a scary incident in his Pro Mod at the 30th annual NHRA SpringNationals at Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas. He was not injured as his car went on top of the barricade.
He lost control of his Chevrolet almost immediately after going past the Christmas tree. The incident happened in the first-round of eliminations on Saturday.
Rahaim crashed into the wall nearest to him and went above — but did not cross over and into the stands. Instead, his car came back down and onto the track.
After being back on the track, his car went and hit to the far wall, before coming to a stop. The NHRA Safety Safari immediately went to check on the Pro Modified driver.
He was able to exit his TLC Waste Disposal Services Chevy Camaro on his own. Rahaim was checked by the Safety Safari before being released.
