New Egypt, NJ — GoMuddy.com, CS Lawn & Landscape, Bair’s Tree Service sponsored World of Outlaws Sprint Car driver David Gravel won the Jersey Outlaw Classic on Tuesday night at New Egypt Speedway in New Egypt, New Jersey. He won in dominating fashion, as he led all 30 laps.
Gravel picked up $6,000 for the win. The Connecticut native has won three of the last four races on the World of Outlaws Sprint Car schedule.
On May 17th, he won the Gettysburg Clash at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. Two nights later, he won the Morgan Cup Preliminary night at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.

Gravel won over Donny Schatz by 0.521 seconds. The Arctic Cat, Ford driver finished second. Schatz took home $3,500.
He also won at Thunderbowl Raceway on March 17th. About two weeks later, he won at Placerville Speedway on March 29th.
Several days later, Gravel won at Perris Auto Speedway on April 1st. Two weeks later, the Connecticut driver won at Gator Motorplex on April 13th. Before the recent win streak, he also won at Plymouth Speedway on April 28th.
Ollie’s Bargain Outlet sponsored driver Brad Sweet finished third. Sweet received $2,000.
Larson Marks Racing, ENEOS Motor Oil sponsored driver Shane Stewart finished fourth. Stewart received $1,800.

Mesilla Valley Transportation, Priority Aviation Services sponsored driver Jason Johnson finished fifth. Johnson received $1,500.
Schatz was the fastest qualifier at 13.442 seconds. Stewart, Tim Shaffer, and Gravel were the heat winners. Johnson was the dash winner.
So far this season, Gravel has eight wins. He is currently second in points with 3,762 points. Schatz leads the pack with 3,808 points.
