While the sports world was transfixed on Tiger Woods’ latest DUI arrest, it turns out that he was not the only athlete, who was arrested for misdemeanor DWI. According to WFAA-TV in Dallas, Texas, Dallas Cowboys corner back Nolan Carroll was also arrested for DUI on Monday morning.

Carroll — who signed with the team in the off-season after playing the past two seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles — was stopped by a Dallas police officer for committing a traffic violation. The incident happened on the 2200 block of McKinney Ave., according to the TV station.

He posted bond at 2:45 pm, according to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department and was released. It is not clear when he was arrested in the morning, because the TV station and the police department did not release that information.

Prior to joining the Eagles, he played for the Miami Dolphins. It’s a one-year deal with the Cowboys.

Carroll has spent the past six-years in the NFL. He has seven career interceptions with two coming last year with the Eagles. He played in 11 games last season, before missing the final five games with a broken ankle.
