Panthers add to their football operations

The Carolina Panthers announced changes to their scouting and football operations on Thursday. Rob Hanrahan has been hired as the team’s new pro scout.

He spent 16-years with the Buffalo Bills prior to his new appointment. He last served as the team’s Director of Pro Personnel for two seasons.

Hanrahan was also team’s Assistant Director of Pro Personnel in 2014. He was also their Pro Personnel Coordinator from 2008 through 2013.

He was also a Pro Personnel Assistant and a Scouting Assistant.

The team also hired David Turner as their BLESTO scout. He has eight-years of NFL experience, mostly with the Oakland Raiders. He was with the Raiders from 2005 through 2010.

He also has worked with the Arizona Rattlers from 2011 through 2015 in the Arena Football League. He also worked two years with the now defunct United Football League’s Hartford Colonials in 2010 and 2011.

Bryan Porter is the team’s new Director of Football Operations. He received a promotion, as he has been with the team since 2001. He was the football operations manager since 2011 before his present appointment.

Mike Anderson also received a promotion as he is the new assistant director of football operations. Anderson joined the team in 2010, but has been working in the football operations since 2011.
