The Arizona Coyotes have made changed to their front office on Friday. The headliners include President and CEO Anthony LeBlanc and President of Hockey Operations Gary Drummond stepping down from their positions.
A national search has begun in regards to the team’s new CEO and several candidates have been identified. Also, General Manager John Chayka and Cohen were also named Alternative Governors for the team.
They will report directly to Barroway in their increased responsibilities. The press release also insists the team will not release the President of Hockey Operations at this time.
“For years, Anthony has been the front office face of our franchise, and we sincerely appreciate all of his hard work and commitment to the club,” Barroway said. “Anthony and Gary deserve a lot of credit for stabilizing the franchise. They did great things for hockey in Arizona and helped grow the game in the Valley. They have the lasting gratitude of every Coyotes fan and I want to wish them both the best of luck in the future.”
