Paul George has said that he only wants to join the Los Angeles Lakers next summer. But the star forward has a new team — and it’s not the Lakers.

George has been traded to the Boston Celtics. According to reports, Jayson Tatum, who was selected with the third overall pick, Avery Bradley and Jae Crowder are going to the Pacers.

He’ll be a free agent next off-season. The Celtics hope that they could strike a deal to keep him in Boston and stop him from going to Los Angeles.

The Celtics were expected to be the front runners to add soon-to-be free agent Gordon Hayward. However, with this deal going through with George, that deal will not happen now.

We’ll have to see how the next few weeks play out. Trader Danny got another top talent to pair with Isaiah Thomas and the free-agent additions he’s going to add.
