Nenê has re-signed with the Houston Rockets. It’s reportedly a four-year deal, $15 million deal.

This will likely be the final contract for the 36-year-old. He had spent just one season with the Rockets and must have impressed head coach Mike D’Antoni and general manager Daryl Morey enough to give him this extension.

The Rockets and Nenê came to an agreement Friday evening prior to the 12:01 am start of free agency on Saturday morning. The deal has not been officially announced yet.

He’ll be 35-years-old in September. In his first-year with the team, he averaged 9.1 points and 4.1 rebounds in 67 games.

Last season, he was a frontcourt presence for the team. He’ll continue to be this upcoming season and beyond with Chris Paul and James Harden now on the team.
