New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge won the 2017 Home Run Derby at Marlins Park in Miami, Fla. Judge defeated Miguel Sanó in the final round.

Early on, it looked like he could have been upset by Justin Bour. He surprised everyone with 22 home runs in the first round.

Judge also hit 22 home runs in the first session. Then he was able to hit another long ball in the extra stanza to advance.

He would then go on to dominate against his next two opponents. Even fellow rookie sensation Cody Bellinger was no match for Judge on this night in the semifinals.

Judge was the only hitter to hit home runs longer than 500 feet. In fact, he hit four long balls that far, including a mind-blowing 513 feet home run.

He’s the third player to win the home run derby after having at least a share of the home run lead at the All-Star break, according to ESPN’s Stats & Information. He joins Ken Griffey Jr. in 1994 and Mark McGwire in 1992.

The Yankees are the first team ever to win four home run derby contests.

“I had no pressure going into it. I’m a rookie,” Judge said. “This is my first time doing it. For me, I’ve got no expectations. I’m just going to go in there and have some fun and see what we can do tonight. It was a blast. I enjoyed every minute of it — watching the other guys swing, coming here early, and talking to the media. Everything about today was fantastic.”
