The San Antonio Spurs have re-signed power forward/center Pau Gasol. He has reportedly received a three-year deal.

It has been known in NBA circles that Gasol would re-sign with the Spurs. Now, almost a month into free agency, the two sides strike a deal.

Financial terms of new deal were not known at the time of this post. We do know he opted out of a $16 million deal to become a free agent.

It's believed that this move gives the Spurs better flexibility moving forward. They've been cap-strapped for a long-time now.

More to come.
