Atlantic City — Conner Martell picked up his second GRC Lites win of the season at Bader Field in Atlantic City II during Sunday’s feature. This is Martell’s first win since the season-opener in Memphis, Tenn. in April.
Martell improved on his standings to the top spot on the podium at the doubleheader event. He was the second-place finisher to Cyril Raymond during Saturday’s feature.
The DirtFish Motorsports driver finished the course in 8:21.179. His best lap was 54.201.
Christian Brooks was the second-place finisher. The Dreyer & Reinbold Racing driver was 6.034 seconds behind Martell.
Brooks finished the course in 8:27.213 seconds. His best lap was 54.713.
This was Brooks second second-place finish of the season. He also was the GRC Lites second-place finisher to Raymond at Thompson Speedway in Thompson, CT.
Travis Pecoy, also of Dreyer & Reinbold Racing, finished third. He was 7.022 seconds behind Martell.
He finished the course in 8:28.201. His best lap was 53.118.
Pecoy, whose best finish of the season was second, has three third-place finishes of the season. He also had third-place finishes at Thompson Speedway in Thompson, CT and Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis.
