There will be plenty of catches on Sunday in the Little League World Series, across Major League Baseball, or even the Little League Classic. However, there’s one catch in the Junior League World Series that will top them all.
The amazing catch was made by Pennsylvania’s Jack Regenye. In the fourth inning, he dove over the outfield wall to make a catch and taking a home run away from Chinese Taipei.
Despite making the catch, the play was initially a catch, then overturned to a home run. However, it was later overturned and ruled an out.
Chinese Taipei won the game 12-1 in five innings. But while they got the win, it’s going to be overshadowed by the catch that Regenye made.
This has got to be the catch of the year.
