Former Camping World Truck Series driver Shane Sieg has died. He died over the weekend at 34-years-old.
He is the older brother of Xfinity Series driver Ryan Sieg. The Ryan Sieg Racing team announced his death on social media on Tuesday.

Sieg would have been 35 on Wednesday. There were no other details on how he died.
“Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers,” the team said. “We lost a great driver and an incredible person. Forever in our hearts.”
In his seven-year NASCAR Camping World Truck Series career, he had three top 10 finishes. He also hed four laps and made $739,728 in earnings.
He also made two Xfinity Series starts in 2004 at 21-years-old. He made $30,770 in those starts, where he completed a 122 laps.
He was suspended by NASCAR indefinitely in August 2011. He violated their substance abuse policy.
Sieg, the older brother, also raced in the NASCAR Midwest Series, where he made a start and completed 52 laps. He also competed in a race in the NASCAR Southwest Series, where he completed 122 laps.
He also races two years each in the ASA Natiour Tour and the X-1R Pro Cup Series. He made five starts in the ASA National Tour.
He made 11 starts in the X-1R Pro Cup Series.
