Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Robinson will not return in Sunday’s game. The Jaguars are playing the Houston Texans in the season opener.

Robinson suffered a left knee injury in the first quarter of the contest. He will not return to the game.

Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone will update his condition after the game. He was able to walk off the field on his own power.

Robinson went down after attempting to make a 17-yard catch. The team initially said it was questionable to return, before ruling him out.

He is the team’s best receiver. He was hoping to have a better 2017 season after having a disappointing 2016 season.

Losing Robinson for long-term will be a huge hit to Marrone’s offense and the team’s chances to be good this season.
