Dom Lagana races sparingly on the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series. When he’s not doing that, helping the Capco Contractors team or helping other drivers realizing their dreams, he does match racing around the country.

On Saturday night, he was match racing at US 131 Motorsports Park in Martin, Michigan. During a pass that evening, he set a career-best.

In a 1/4-mile pass, Lagana went 4.48 at 338.35 mph in his Nitro Ninja Top Fuel Dragster. In additional to this being a career-best, it also set a track-record.

Lagana, along with his brother Bobby, was racing on an off-weekend for the NHRA. The NHRA tour will return to zMAX Dragway next weekend for the NHRA Carolina Nationals.

Lagana is scheduled to be driving his Nitro Ninja Top Fuel dragster at this event.

Bobby Lagana Jr. is co-crew Chief with Richard Hogan on Steve Torrence’s Capco Contractors Top Fuel dragster. Torrence, along with his team, won the prestigious Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals at Lucas Oil Raceway on Labor Day.
