Seattle Seahawks starting corner back Jeremy Lane was ejected against the Green Bay Packers. Lane was ejected on a questionable call.

Packers wide receiver Davante Adams initiated the contact with Lane. However, during the whole entire exchange with the two players, no punch was thrown, according the NFL on FOX cameras.

During the spat between the two, Lane did put a forearm to Adams throat. Whether that’s what the officials thought was a punch, we do not know.

It’ll be interesting to see what Lane will have to say about this ejection. Clearly, it was not what the officials thought it was.

Either way, there’s no way to overturn a blown call now, as Lane will continue to miss the rest of the game against the Packers.

This play happened during a Nazair Jones interception that was called back for a penalty. Jones returned the ball for a 70-yard pick-six, before two penalties wiped out each other.

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll replaced Lane with rookie Shaquill Griffin, the team’s third-round draft pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
