The Ezekiel Elliott saga continues, as the Dallas Cowboys running back has now been granted a temporary restraining order. As a result, he’ll be able to play on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

Elliott is facing a six-game suspension in the NFL after violating their personal conduct policy.

The star back is facing a six-game suspension following three separate incidents involving former girlfriend Tiffany Thompson. She alleges that he attacked her three times within a week back in July 2016.

Thompson has also alleged that she was going to ruin his career.

The NFL took one year to investigate the claims, before announcing that Elliott would be suspended for six games. Since that time, there’s been one announcement after another, yet he has continued to play.

Judge Paul Crotty made the ruling on Tuesday. He “ordered that, sufficient reason having shown therefor, pending the hearing and determination of this motion for a preliminary injunction, under Rule 65 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, the NFL shall be temporarily restrained and enjoined from enforcing Ezekiel Elliott’s six-game suspension pending further proceeding.”
