Cory Hall, the Beavers interim head coach, will fall to 0-2, if the simulation is right, since he took over for Greg Andersen after he and the school agreed to mutually part ways.

Cardinal quarterback K.J. Costello went 8 of 12 for 74 yards and an interception. Keller Chryst also went 7 of 17 for 108 yards and two touchdowns.

Chryst hit Trenton Irwin for a five-yard touchdown. He also connected with Donald Stewart for a nine-yard touchdown.

Cameron Scarlet had seven carries for 69 yards. JJ Arcega-Whiteside led the team in receptions, as he had three receptions for 55 yards.

Stewart just had the nine-yard touchdown reception, as his lone reception in the game. Irwin had four receptions for 33 yards and a score.

Cardinals kicker Jet Toner also made two field goals.

Beavers quarterback Darell Garretson went 14 of 22 for 107 yards. He also had two interceptions.

Ryan Nall led the team with 24 carries for 197 rushing yards and a touchdown. He scored on a two-yard touchdown.

Jordan Villamin had five receptions for 47 yards.
