Ratliff-Williams has a big game against the Panthers

It’s been a bad year for the North Carolina Tar Heels football team this season. Yet, on Thursday night, the Tar Heels picked up their biggest win of the season.

The Tar Heels defeated the Pittsburgh Panthers, 34-31, at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Tar Heels quarterback Nathan Elliott went 20 of 31 for 235 yards. He also had two touchdowns.

Elliott hit Brandon Fritts for an 11-yard touchdown. He also hit Anthony Ratliff-Williams for a three-yard touchdown.

Ratliff-Williams also went 1 of 1 for a 35-yard touchdown. He hit Josh Cabrera for the touchdown.

Jordon Brown had 15 carries for 70 yards. Michael Carter also had six carries for 24 yards.

Ratliff-Williams had five receptions for 75 yards and a touchdown. Dazz Newsome also had five receptions for 46 yards.

Ratliff-Williams also had a 98-yard return for a touchdown to begin the game. Tar Heels kicker Freeman Jones also made two field goals.

Panthers quarterback Ben DiNucci went 11 of 17 for 142 yards.

Darrin Hall led the rushers with 23 carries for 121 yards and four touchdowns. DiNucci also had 14 carries for 83 yards.

Maurice Ffrench also had three receptions for 35 yards. Hall also had a 30-yard reception.

Kicker Alex Kessman also made a 42-yard field goal.
