Shake-ups in the CFP Top 6

The College Football Playoff Committee released its Week 3 rankings, including a new Top 6. The Miami (Fla.) Hurricanes and the Oklahoma Sooners are now at the featured table with the top four teams advancing to the college football playoff in January.

The Clemson Tigers, the reigning college football playoff national champions, rose two spots in this week’s rankings, as they went from No. 4 to No. 2. The Miami (Fla.) Hurricanes, who are finally back as a powerhouse college football team and blown out the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Saturday night, currently set at the No. 3 spot.

The Oklahoma Sooners have the final seat at the table in this week’s Top 4 table. The Sooners, who has won back-to-back weeks over ranked teams in the Oklahoma State Cowboys and the TCU Horned Frogs, as Baker Mayfield as emerged as the Heisman Trophy front runner.

The Wisconsin Badgers, who defeated its first ranked team of the season in the Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday, sits in the fifth position. The Auburn Tigers, who defeated the Bulldogs on Saturday, is in the sixth position.
