After a dreadful performance against the New Orleans Saints, the Buffalo Bills have decided to bench starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor. He had just 56 yards in the game.
Instead of Taylor starting, first-year Head Coach Sean McDermott will go with rookie Nathan Peterman. He was their 5th round draft pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
Peterman replaced Taylor in the blowout loss to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
“We are in the playoff hunt and we are always focused on becoming the best team possible,” McDermott said. “We were made for better than 5-4.”
