Simulation: Lions beat Vikings on Thanksgiving

According to our simulation, the Detroit Lions will defeat the Minnesota Vikings on Thanksgiving Day. The Lions won the simulation 21-13 over their in-conference foe Vikings at Ford Field.

The simulation suggestions the Vikings will lose their first game since Week 4, as they lost 14-7 to the Lions. Minnesota would go to 8-3 on the season.

With the win, the simulation predicts the Lions would improve to 7-4. It would be their fourth straight win.

Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford went 18 of 31 for 197 yards. He had two touchdowns and an interception.

Both of Stafford’s touchdowns went to Marvin Jones Jr.

Ameer Abdullah led the rushing attack with 18 carries for 56 yards and a touchdown. Stafford also had three carries for 10 yards.

Jones Jr. had six receptions for 108 yards and two touchdowns. Golden Tate also had five receptions for 35 yards.

Vikings quarterback Case Keenum went 18 of 27 for 198 yards. He had a touchdown and three interceptions.

Jerick McKinnon had 20 carries for 64 yards. Latavius Murray also had 13 carries for 60 yards.

Adam Thielen had four receptions for 58 yards. C.J. Ham also had two receptions for 34 yards and a touchdown.

Vikings kicker Kai Forbath also made two field goals.
