This is the Gators third straight loss. Florida head coach Mike White called the loss, “[an] epitome of soft.”

“Hopefully, we’ve been humbled a bit,” he said.

This is their second straight loss in three days, as they were defeated by their Sunshine State rivals, the Florida State Seminoles on Monday night. They also blew a 17-point lead to the Duke Blue Devils on November 26th for their first loss of the season and began their downward spiral.

“I can’t put a word on it,” Gators guard Jalen Hudson said. “It’s so embarrassing.”

Aundre Jackson led the Ramblers with 23 points. Jackson, who is averaging 13.8 points per game on the season, is averaging 23 points per game in December, as he has scored 23 points in each of the games this month.

Cameron Krutwig and Donte Ingram also scored in double-figures, as they had 14 points and 11 points, respectively.

Despite the win, the Loyola-Chicago team had just 11 bench points.
