Simulation: Troy beats North Texas

According to our simulation, the Troy Trojans will defeat the North Texas Mean Green in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl. Our simulation suggests the Trojans will win 31-9.

Our simulation suggests the Trojans will end their season with an 11-2 record. The Mean Green will end their season with a 9-5 record.

Troy quarterback Brandon Silvers went 23 of 40 for 337 passing yards. He also had two touchdowns and an interception.

Silvers hit Damion Willis for a 37-yard touchdown. He also hit Deondre Douglas for a 47-yard touchdown reception.

Jamarius Henderson had five carries for 48 yards, including a 31-yard rushing touchdown. Jordan Chunn had 14 carries for 43 yards, including a four-yard rushing touchdown.

Willis had five receptions for 76 yards and the touchdown. Douglas had three receptions for 67 yards and the touchdown.

Trojans kicker Evan Legassey also made a field goal.

North Texas quarterback Mason Fine went 19 of 34 for 192 passing yards. He also had two interceptions.

Jeffery Wilson had 18 carries for 129 rushing yards. Nic Smith also had 10 carries for 49 yards.

Jalen Guyton had six receptions for 60 yards. Jaelon Darden had four receptions for 46 yards.

Mean Green kicker Trevor Moore made three field goals.
