Interim New York Giants Head Coach Steve Spagnuolo has talked to his players about “Giants pride.” For the first-time in their woeful season, they did something they haven’t done before in 2017.

The Giants scored on their first possession of the game. Eli Manning matched the Giants down the field.

Then from the one-yard line, Orleans Darkwa scored a touchdown. He gave New York a 6-0 lead.

The Giants were hoping to make it 7-0. However, Eagles rookie defensive end Derek Burnett blocked the extra point.

With little hope for the Giants this season, the team has to take these little things and attempt to put a good game together. This confidence builder could potentially do great things for the team in Sunday’s game against their NFC East Divisional rival.
