The Jersey Flight will be playing at the Cure Insurance Arena in Trenton, N.J. after all. According to a source, the team will be playing in the American Arena League in 2018.

The team was supposed to play in the National Arena League. However, after the team failed to reach obligations put in place by its bylaws, the league kicked the Flight out.

The American Arena League is a league that will start out in 2018 with 13 teams (and three affiliated teams). This league was a merger between Arena Pro Football and the Can-Am Indoor Football League.

The Flight is the only team in the State of New Jersey. There are two teams in New York, though, as the Glens Falls Gladiators play in Glens Falls, New York, and the Rochester Kings play in Brighton, New York.

There’s one other team above New York and that’s the Vermont Bucks in Burlington, Vermont.

Of the arenas used in this league, the Cure Insurance Arena is the second-largest in this league with a 10,500 capacity. The Richmond Roughriders play in an 11,088 capacity facility at the Richmond Coliseum.

The majority of the teams in this league are located in the South, especially in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. The Austin Wild, an affiliated team, is the only one located in Texas.

The Flight will begin their season in March of 2018. The AAL schedule should be released soon.
