According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, UCLA Bruins quarterback Josh Rosen will pull an Eli Manning. The junior quarterback, who will likely miss his team’s bowl game on Tuesday, will play for any team except the woeful Cleveland Browns.

Schefter suggests that Rosen will only like to play for the New York Giants.

Schefter even says that he would hesitate to enter the draft if the Browns commit to him. The Browns are presently winless on the season — and may become the second team in NFL history to go winless on the season, joining the 2008 Detroit Lions team.

Rosen is the latest player to hesitate to play for the Browns, who have not had a winning season since the 2007 season. They have only made the playoffs once since re-entering the league in 1999, which came in 2002 when they lost in the Wild Card round to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

If the Giants, who presently stand at 2-14, losing their last two games of the season, they will secure the second overall pick in the draft.

Both of ESPN’s Draft experts Todd McShay and Mel Kiper Jr. have Rosen as the top-rated quarterbacks. However, Kiper Jr. has Rosen going fourth overall on his Big Board, while McShay has Rosen going No. 1 overall.

The Browns continue to miss on quarterbacks in the draft. They have DeShone Kizer, Kevin Hogan and Cody Kessler on their quarterback depth chart, all drafted within the past two drafts by the team.

Kizer was the highest-picked in the second-round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Their quarterback play has been hideous.

Manning, when he was considered the top quarterback draft prospect in 2004, refused to play for the San Diego Chargers. He would eventually be drafted by the Chargers, but then was swapped in the deal for Philip Rivers and others.

Rosen, if he is drafted by the Browns, will attempt to play the same power card as Manning. But this time, will it work?
