For the third-time this season, the Philadelphia Eagles have lost a game. They lost to their arch-rival, Dallas Cowboys, 6-0, at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on New Year’s Eve.
The Eagles ended their regular season with a 13-3 record. Philadelphia will now have a bye before they host an NFC Divisional Round game at the Linc in South Philadelphia.
The Cowboys completed their season with a 9-7 record.
Brice Butler caught a 20-yard touchdown reception from Dak Prescott. The extra point missed.
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott went 17 of 30 for 179 passing yards. He also had a touchdown pass.
Ezekiel Elliott had 27 carries for 103 yards. Prescott had two carries for 16 yards. Terrance Williams had a nine-yard rush.
Butler had two receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown. Elliott had three receptions for 38 yards. Ryan Switzer had four receptions for 32 yards. Dez Bryant had three receptions for 24 yards. Jason Witten had two receptions for 17 yards.
Eagles quarterback Nick Foles went 4 of 11 for 39 yards and an interception. He was replaced in the second quarter by Nate Sudfeld, who went 19 of 23 for 134 passing yards.
LeGarrette Blount had nine carries for 37 yards. Sudfeld also had a 22-yard rush.
Mack Hollins had three receptions for 25 yards. Wendell Smallwood had three receptions for 24 yards, while Zach Ertz also had two receptions for 24 yards. Marcus Johnson had three receptions for 23 yards. Brent Celek had three receptions for 13 yards. Shelton Gibson had two receptions for 11 yards. Nelson Agholor had three receptions for 11 yards, while Blount also had an 11-yard reception.
