Cristiane “Cris Cyborg” Justino was able to defeat “The Preacher’s Daughter” on Saturday night at UFC 219. Justino defeated Holly Holm by unanimous decision at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
She was able to defend her featherweight belt for the first-time over Holm. This is the first-time the 32-year-old went the distance in her nine-year career.
Justino is now 19-1 in her MMA career. The Brazilian has won 19 straight bouts — and this is her fourth win in the Octagon.
Cyborg defeated Tonya Evinger this past July by TKO to win the belt.
Holm, who has now fell to 11-4 in her MMA career, has now lost four of her last five fights since shocking the world by defeating Ronda Rousey in November 2015. The win came over Bethe Correia at UFC Fight Night 111.
This fight also won a $50,000 bonus, as it was named the Fight of the Night.
